We are all physiotherapists and sectoral healthcare practitioners (Heilpraktiker) for physiotherapy, with numerous further qualifications and certifications in manual therapy, sports physiotherapy and nutritional counselling. We add to this our experience as international speakers on "Shockwave treatment and complementary methods — applications in modern sports medicine".

How many sessions will I need?

Accepted Answer

We can give you a much more accurate plan only after your first session. For smaller, non-chronic injuries we typically see a clear improvement within 3–5 sessions. For larger or chronic injuries, around 10–12 sessions are usually required.

Do I need a doctor's prescription?

No. As sectoral healthcare practitioners for physiotherapy, we are licensed to make diagnoses, treat patients and select the most suitable therapy methods without a medical prescription.

Are the costs covered by my health insurance?

Accepted Answer

Statutory health insurers cover physiotherapy services in their benefit catalog when prescribed. Treatments outside the catalog (e.g. EMG, shockwave therapy, etc.) are not covered by statutory insurance. Private patients may be reimbursed depending on their policy.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

Please bring your insurance card and comfortable sports clothing. During treatment we ask you to wear shorts and, if applicable, a sports bra.

What happens if I cannot attend an appointment?

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please observe the 24-hour notice period. Cancellations, rescheduling or no-shows within 24 hours may be charged.
